GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
Drag racing started in the 1930's where competitors raced along desert stretches of road to see whose hot rod was faster. Over the coming years the sport became more organized and as engines got better and drivers got braver, speeds began topping 300mph. With the increase of power, speeds and even age, came the untimely deaths of many popular and legendary racers. The ADRA is recognizing all drag racers, crew members and those who made the sport what it is who have left for that dragstrip in the sky. We do not have all their names, but we invite anyone who wishes to recognize someone to please provide their name to competition@adraracing.org and they will be added to our list.
